Restoration: The Final Return

Statement of Belief

We believe at the end of the millennium, Jesus and the redeemed will return to earth, when God will reveal the judgment of the wicked and they will receive their penalty.

Revelation 20 1)

Additional Information

As the Millennium concludes, Jesus descends to earth accompanied by the righteous, both those who were alive at the Second Coming and also those who took part in the first resurrection, who have been reigning with Him in heaven. Upon their arrival, the wicked throughout history are resurrected, and Satan is released from the abyss where he was bound (Revelation 20:7-8). Under Satan's deception, these resurrected wicked gather together, preparing to wage war against the city of New Jerusalem and God's people.

However, this final act of rebellion will meet an immediate end through divine intervention. God will pronounce the final judgement of the wicked. Fire from heaven will consume all who follow Satan, and Satan himself will be cast into the lake of fire for eternal destruction, marking the end of sin. Along with them, Death and Hades — the symbols of mortality and death — are also thrown into the lake of fire, marking the end of death itself (Revelation 20:9-10, 13-14).
