Bible Translations Comparison
This table is a product of our own development. It exists only to provide quick comparisons between the top 20 English Bibles as of 2022.
Parallel Plus
A very good parallel presentation by TheBible.org. There are other online parallel Bible resources, but this is the best FREE one we've found so far. We start our studies with the versions set to NET, NIV, NASB, ESV, NKJV, and Amplified.
Bible Gateway
The Bible Gateway is an excellent resource for its multitude of available translations, as well as research and study tools. It has a parallel feature, but we find Parallel Plus better. Your opinion may vary. Nonetheless, Bible Gateway is useful on its own and also in concert with Parallel Plus as the latter does not provide footnotes, etc. Bible Gateway also provides the pop-up verse service used on our sites.
Knowing Jesus
Another good online Bible resource. It has a lot of nice features and is worth taking a look. However, it has one quirk: So far, we cannot sort out how to look up a verse range, only single verses.
