Additional Information

When it comes to the nation of Israel, there is a lot of debate and disagreement among Christians as to what the Bible says about its current and future role. However, as believers in Christ, we can find clarity in the scriptures regarding Israel's spiritual rebirth.

It's important to note that true Israel is not limited to a physical nation or race, but rather it encompasses all believers in Christ, both Jews and Gentiles. As the apostle Paul writes in Romans 9:6-8, “Not all who are descended from Israel are Israel. Nor because they are his descendants are they all Abraham's children. On the contrary, 'It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.' In other words, it is not the children by physical descent who are God's children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham's offspring.”

This means that being a physical descendant of Abraham does not automatically make one a member of true Israel. Instead, it is through faith in Jesus Christ that one becomes a part of this spiritual nation. As Galatians 3:29 states, “If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

As believers in Christ, we can rest assured that the promises made to Israel are fulfilled in the Church. This does not mean that God has abandoned the physical nation of Israel, but rather that He has expanded His plan to include both Jews and Gentiles in his redemptive work. Through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we are all reconciled to God and made members of His family.

When it comes to end times prophecy, there is much speculation and debate about the role of Israel. Some believe that the physical nation of Israel will play a major role in the end times, while others believe that the Church is the focus of prophecy. We fall into the latter camp; however, regardless of interpretation, we can agree that God's ultimate plan is to restore all things and in the end establish His kingdom on earth.

In conclusion, as believers in Christ, we can take comfort in the fact that we are part of true Israel, and that the promises made to Israel are fulfilled in the Church. We can also trust in God's plan for the future, knowing that He is in control and working all things together for our good and His glory.
